TiMolium® Titanium Wire: the Next Generation Titanium Wire
TiMolium, the patented titanium alloy archwire only from TP Orthodontics, is a dramatic advancement in wire technology.
Tests show that the smoothness of TiMolium is much greater than traditional TMA wire.
TiMolium wire has fewer surface defects to act as crack propagators. Its high yield strength can withstand bending without breaking. Unlike TMA wire, TiMolium makes it possible to fabricate intricate loops and bends for enhanced treatment options.
Orthodontists agree that it TiMolium is ideal for accurate torquing and tipping of ceramic brackets and that it has higher yield and compressive strength than TMA.1
Accelerated Treatment Times
TiMolium can accelerate treatment times. While stiffer than TMA wire, TiMolium is only half as stiff as stainless steel. As a result, TiMolium delivers optimal force delivery while retaining all the benefits of titanium.
TiMolium is excellent for all phases of treatment. In the beginning, it is ideal for space closure, tooth alignment, leveling and bite opening. Intermediate treatment is enhanced because moderate forces provide early torque control.
At the detailing phase, TiMolium gives you total control.
